Not only was Pioneer able
to slim down the cube size, but also the cost. All of this
while still maintaining the crisp, sharp picture quality our
customers have come to expect. These two factors have made
spectacular large-screen viewing a practical proposition for
a broader range of environments and applications than ever
before. |
| New Chimney Design Allows Flush Wall Installation
Large-screen projection system cabinets require ventilation
in order to dissipate the heat generated by the CRT. Previous
CRT technology achieved this by maintaining a small gap between
the system and the wall. The RM-V2550U/E overcomes this problem
through the use of an internal chimney that facilitates ventilation
by allowing cool air to enter from the lower front of the
unit while warm air escapes from the top. This design, plus
the recessed connector panel, eliminates the need for a rear
gap, allowing the system to be installed flush against the
wall. |
